ABOUT ADVANCED TEAM TRAINING

Advanced Team Training is designed for those who have already completed a past Parkinson’s Foundation Team Training (alumni). The program is presented annually with an interprofessional focus on a specific topic requested by previous Team Training attendees. Advanced Team Training is a hybrid live in-person course with 1.5 hours of online course time to be completed prior to arrival.

This 2-day training course is a great opportunity for alumni of Parkinson’s Foundation Team Training to gain and advance their knowledge and skills in providing effective team collaboration, optimal assessments, and treatments for individuals living with atypical Parkinsonism. Interactive panels, team breakouts with case studies, and discipline-specific breakouts provide opportunities for team practice and learning integration and provides a dynamic opportunity to network and learn with health professionals from around the country who are currently working with people with Parkinson’s in a health care setting. Each person (and interprofessional team) will create a tailored plan that can be implemented immediately upon their return.

You are not required to attend this program with a team; however, the most impactful experience happens when attending with additional team members.

2024 FOCUS TOPIC: ATYPICAL PARKINSONISM

The Parkinson’s Foundation and CurePSP are partnering for the 2024 training focusing on the interprofessional care of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Corticobasal/Degeneration Syndrome (CBS/CBD) and Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).

Team Training Live 2024 provides eligibility to attend Advanced Team Training!

This year, the Team Training program will be presented on 10/22-10/24 at the same location, and we are excited to provide an opportunity to those who attend and complete the Team Training 2024 program to join the Advanced Team Training program on 10/25-10/26 rather than waiting until the following summer.

This is your opportunity to invite colleagues to attend Team Training and immediately join you as a team member in the Advanced Team Training!
