IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:   

  • You must login or register for the Learning Lab before registering for Team Training. 
  • All attendees must register for themselves. Do not register for another attendee. 
  • Be prepared to pay immediately following program registration. Registration is completed once electronic payment has been made. Registrations without payment within 24 hours will be cancelled.
  • Early registration is May 1-July 11: $500 registration fee
  • Regular registration July 12-September 30: $550 registration fee. This program is offered to a mix of professions and when the maximum capacity of one or more discipline tracks is reached or approaching max capacity, a message will be on the program pages in the Learning Lab. We recommend contacting us at teamtraining@parkinson.org when you see this message for guidance on next steps. 
  • The Parkinson's Foundation may take group photos during in-person trainings to be used for future educational program marketing.

ABOUT TEAM TRAINING:

The Parkinson's Foundation Team Training program improves the lives of people living with Parkinson's disease (PD) by increasing knowledge, communication, and collaboration among healthcare professionals working in the PD community.  The program incorporates the latest research and treatments to strengthen comprehensive, interprofessional, and patient-centered care throughout the continuum of the disease. 

Team Training is an interactive 3-day in person training to educate team members on 

  • Best practices for Parkinson’s care
  • Maximize team communication and collaboration
  • Gain a better understanding of the roles of different team members and how they can collectively provide better patient outcomes.

Those who complete the 2025 Team Training course in Denver, along with those who have completed a past Team Training (or ATTP) course are immediately eligible to attend the Advanced Team Training course.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

The program is designed for the following professions:

  • Physicians
  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Nurses
  • Physician Assistants
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Physical Therapists
  • Social Workers
  • Psychologists

Other professions such as registered dietitians, clinical researchers, and team coordinators who are currently working on a Parkinson’s care team should contact teamtraining@parkinson.org for consideration to attend with their team members.

ELIGIBILITY: 

To be eligible to register, participants must be one of the following:

  • licensed in one of the targeted disciplines and currently working full time with Parkinson’s patients
  • MD fellow or resident (PGY 2-4)
  • full-time student in one of the targeted disciplines 

REGISTRATION PRICES:

  • Early registration (May 1 – July 11): $500 per person for each program
  • Regular registration (July 12-September 30): $550 per person for each program
  • VA discount: $357.50 per person up to 15 VA discounts for each program
  • Complimentary registrations: MD Fellows and up to 2 students per discipline. Students must be full-time in one of the named disciplines for this program

 CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations within 7 days of payment are fully refundable until July 11th. After July 12th, cancellations are no longer refundable.

TIME COMMITMENT:  

Arrival date:  Sunday, 10/19/2025 (evening arrival)

Departure date for Team Training:  AFTER 8pm on Wednesday, 10/22 OR the morning of Thursday, 10/23.

If attending the Advanced Team Training in addition to Team Training, departure date will be AFTER 5 pm on Friday, 10/24.

Conference hotel rate:  $225 per night (plus applicable taxes) while room block is available. Conference will be held in downtown Denver.

Parkinson's Foundation Team Training requires that you complete all online prerequisite courses prior to attending the live training.

Your attendance is required for every live session on OCTOBER 20-22, 2025 to complete the training and be registered as a Parkinson Foundation Team Training Alumni.

2025 ADVANCED TEAM TRAINING: New Insights in Clinical Management of Newly Diagnosed, Early Parkinson’s disease and Young-Onset Parkinson’s disease

Advanced Team Training is exclusively offered to Team Training graduates (alumni).  

If you plan to attend the Advanced Team Training on October 23-24 and are not already a Team Training alumni,  you must first complete the registration for Team Training with payment. 

Advanced Team Training is a separate program, separate registration, and cost.
