Debra is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in emergency care. Debra currently holds a tenure position as a nursing faculty at Anoka Ramsey Community College. Debra also holds an advanced certification from the National League of Nursing (NLN) as a Certified Nurse Educator. In 2018, she participated in the Edmond J. Safra Visiting Nurse Faculty Program at the Parkinson's Foundation. Debra is a member of the Aware in Care Advisory Committee. Debra has a personal and professional interest in promoting further Parkinson's disease education, by working to augment student learning through classroom education and simulation.
