Applying Knowledge, Skills, and Strategy to Care
Professional Education Talks are accredited short (one hour or less) courses that focus on peer-to-peer interaction and best practice implementation strategies while including real world scenarios with people with Parkinson’s. The aim is to provide clinicians, researchers & health professionals with knowledge they can apply to patient care tomorrow.
Professional Education Talks provide accreditation for health professionals working across various settings including acute and/or community settings. The Parkinson’s Foundation strives to enable discussions that are both about and involves people with Parkinson’s and their care partners. These talks explore the complex causes and challenges of living with Parkinson’s and ways to improve care and treatment, and to better explain and expand on how treatments should be approached and practiced by clinicians.
Our goal is to deliver high-quality professional education that drives improvements in practice and helps clinicians and teams to optimize the care, health, and wellness of their patients. This is an opportunity for medical and health professionals as well as students to improve their knowledge while actively and openly sharing their knowledge to improve patient care.
