Dr. Jennifer G. Goldman, MD, MS, FAAN is a Movement Disorders neurologist with certification in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry. Dr. Goldman is an internationally recognized clinician, researcher, and educator who has focused her career on the neuropsychiatric aspects of Parkinson's disease (PD), Lewy body disorders and other movement-cognitive disorders, advancing our understanding of their symptoms, improving treatments and outcomes, and implementing innovative interdisciplinary care models. Dr. Goldman currently is an adjunct Professor at Barrow Neurological Institute and provides research, consulting, and other professional expertise through JPG Enterprises LLC, Chicago, IL. Previously, Dr. Goldman served as the first-ever Section Chief for Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (formerly the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago), Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neurology at Northwestern University and Professor of Neurological Sciences at Rush University. She has published over 100 articles and scholarly works, received multiple research grants, and developed innovative clinical and educational programs. Dr. Goldman has held numerous leadership positions in academic and national and international societies for PD, Lewy body dementia (LBD), and other movement disorders. She is currently the Secretary-Elect for the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society and the Chair of the Lewy Body Dementia Association (LBDA) Scientific Advisory Council and the LBDA Industry Advisory Council. She is on Board of Directors for the LBDA. Dr. Goldman continues to develop novel ways to advance science and care for people affected by PD, LBD and other neurological disorders.
