Denise Beran, Associate Director of Professional Programs manages the Parkinson's Foundation Team Training educational program. With over 20 years of previous experience in executive management, Ms. Beran joined the Foundation in 2004, assisting the Director of Programs and co-founders of the Allied Team Training for Parkinson's program (ATTP). In 2007, she began managing the program, which at that time, catered to 6 disciplines with 30-35 attendees per training. Ms. Beran also interweaved her time to work with the foundation’s research team in the management of multi-site telemedicine research studies and grants, as well as managing the oversight/logistics for the Foundation’s Centers Leadership Conferences (CLC). By 2017, the Team Training program had grown to become a nationally recognized signature program of the Parkinson’s Foundation, presented in various locations around the U.S. and Canada. Ms. Beran continues to manage and help grow the program to expand the footprint of the Foundation's professional education. She is certified in program management and as an educational aide and has co-authored various publications and articles relating to telemedicine research and team training.
