Robert Hand, PT, DPT
Robert (Bobby) C. Hand, PT, DPT, is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation Sciences at Drexel University. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Saint Joseph’s University and is recognized as a Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS) by the Academy of Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). He has worked clinically in both the inpatient and outpatient setting, including specialty positions at multiple movement disorder clinics. In 2018, he was the recipient of both the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Early Career Professional Award and Degenerative Diseases Special Interest Group Volunteer Award. He regularly collaborates with the Parkinson’s Foundation and CurePSP, where he previously held a position on the Board of Directors, to support families affected by parkinsonism. He currently maintains his clinical practice at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital and serves as a research consultant with the Movement Disorders Division of Jefferson Health.
