Marie Curtis, MOT, OTR/L
Marie Curtis is an occupational therapist who works at the UNC Center for Rehabilitation Care. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy from ECU and a Masters of Occupational Therapy from Towson University. She has been with UNC for 8 years now and during that time completed a Graduate Degree in Low Vision Rehabilitation through UAB and earned a specialty certification in Low Vision. Marie is one of the original members of the Atypical Parkinson’s disease Interdisciplinary team at UNC and has treated multiple patients with PSP, MSA, and CBD. Marie has been LSVT certified since 2016 and completed ATTP training in 2017. She has been the lead occupational therapy presenter for Parkinson’s disease specific colloquiums in North Carolina on two occasions.
