Dr. Dobkin is a Professor of Psychiatry at Rutgers University - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Clinical Psychologist in the New Jersey VA Healthcare System. Her research aims include improving the recognition, assessment, and treatment of the neuropsychiatric complications of Parkinson's disease, advancing the understanding of the complex relationship between motor and non-motor symptoms of PD and the influence of this interaction on course and progression of PD, and utilizing applications of telemedicine to leverage access to informed mental health care for all members of the PD community. She currently serves on the Executive Steering Committee for the Parkinson Progressions Marker Initiative (sponsored by the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research) and the Scientific Advisory Board for the Davis Phinney Foundation.
