Mrs. Rose received her Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from St. Ambrose University in Iowa in 2015. She is a Senior Occupational Therapist at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) in the outpatient setting and covers weekends and holidays on the inpatient/acute side. She has 8 years of experience treating a wide variety of clients with neurological diagnoses both inpatient and outpatient, with an emphasis on Parkinson's Disease. Mrs. Rose is the lead OT practitioner for UIHC's Parkinson's Center of Excellence, and she is proficient in treating conditions and promoting function of the hand & upper extremity, with expertise in orthotic fabrication & fitting. She is LSVT-BIG certified, Level I and II Reiki certified, and is a board certified Tai Chi Instructor for arthritis and fall prevention.
