Haejin Ban, MA, LMSW
Haejin Ban has been a social worker for over 20 years concentrating community organizing related to senior issues from housing, healthcare to hospice. She is particularly interested in community education and developing outreach programs.
With an increasing senior population in Metro Atlanta area, Haejin started Care Lift Corp, an organization to provide advocacy, education and support for the family caregivers. Care Lift serves family members and main care partners of elderly who are mostly their spouses and their middle age children. After her father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2015, Haejin joined Parkinson’s Foundation as an Aware In Care Ambassador and became a member of the Georgia Chapter Mission & Outreach Committee. She also facilitates a monthly support group for the PD patients and care partners who mainly speak Korean.
Haejin was born and raised in South Korea and moved to US to attend the MSW Program at Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, City University of New York. Haejin loves to travel and try different cuisines with her husband while visiting her two children who are working and studying in other parts of the country.
