Annie Coy, BSN, RN, CNRN
Annie Coy, BSN, RN, CNRN is a neurology nurse navigator at VCU Health in Richmond, VA. VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University) has earned the CurePSP Center of Care, Parkinson’s Foundation and HDSA Center of Excellence designations. She coordinates care for movement disorders patients including Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, functional neurologic disorders, spinocerebellar ataxias, PSP, MSA and CBD across the health system. She is the clinic coordinator for both the atypical parkinsonism multidisciplinary clinic and neuropalliative care clinic, in addition to navigating the Parkinson’s disease multidisciplinary clinic. Prior to transitioning to her role of nurse navigator, Annie worked in labor and delivery with a focus on bereavement and in both inpatient and home hospice care. She graduated from VCU with her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2005 and is currently working on her master’s degree in the psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner track. Her passion is end-of-life care for dementia patients and their families. She lives in Richmond, VA with her husband and daughter.
