Debbie Hanka, DPT
Debbie is a retired Physical Therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient therapy, home health care, long-term care, and transitional care. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, and she completed her tDPT at Regis University in Colorado. She became a Geriatric Certified Specialist (GCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy in 2005. In addition, she earned her credential as a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults (CEEAA), as well as certifications through LSVT BIG and PWR! Moves. Debbie is a former member of APTA and the Academies of Geriatric and Neurologic Physical Therapy, and she had been active in the Minnesota chapter in various capacities. She is passionate about working with people with Parkinson's disease, particularly in the areas of health promotion and fall prevention.
