Maria Walde-Douglas is a physical therapist who has specialized in the assessment and treatment of individuals with Parkinson's disease (PD) for over 30 years. She is also a yoga and Tai Ji Quan Moving for Better Balance instructor, and she leads yoga and Tai Ji classes for persons with PD. Maria wrote curriculum and served as a faculty member for Allied Team Training for Parkinson's sponsored by the National Parkinson's Foundation, and she has co-authored research articles on falls and PD and interprofessional training in PD.
